Senator Bong Go Tops Latest Pulse Asia Pre-Electoral Survey for 2025 Senate Race

In the most recent Pulse Asia pre-electoral survey conducted from February 20 to 26, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go emerged as the leading senatorial candidate, surpassing ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Erwin Tulfo. The survey, which gauged voter preferences for the upcoming May 2025 senatorial elections, revealed that Go and Tulfo are statistically tied for the top two spots, with 58.1% and 56.5% of respondents favoring them, respectively.

The survey highlighted that out of 64 senatorial candidates, 13 individuals have a strong statistical chance of securing a seat in the Senate. Among the probable winners are several prominent figures, including former Senate President Vicente Sotto III, who ranked 3rd to 4th with 49.0% voter preference, and Senator Ramon Revilla Jr., who placed 3rd to 6th with 46.1%. Other notable names in the top 13 include Senator Ronald dela Rosa (44.3%), television host Willie Revillame (42.3%), and former senator Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao (39.9%).

The complete list of probable winners, based on voter preferences, includes:

  • Senator Christopher “Bong” Go (58.1%, 1st to 2nd places)
  • ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Erwin Tulfo (56.5%, 1st to 2nd places)

  • Las PiƱas City Representative Camille Villar (36.6%, 8th to 13th places)

Notably, some well-known figures, such as Senator Imee Marcos, former senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan, former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, and actor Philip Salvador, did not make it into the so-called “Magic 12.” The survey also revealed that 3.4% of registered voters remain undecided, while 2.6% expressed no support for any candidate, and 1.7% refused to disclose their preferences.

With Senator Bong Go leading the pack, the race for the Senate promises to be highly competitive, with a mix of seasoned politicians, media personalities, and former public officials vying for a seat in the upper chamber.
